Hi friend –
Polls for the midterm elections open tomorrow, and we know you’re as invested in the results of this year’s elections as all of us at Conservation Voters of PA!
If you plan to vote in person tomorrow on Election Day, here’s what you need to know:
- Polls are open 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.
-
Be sure to go to your assigned polling place, which you can confirm here. If this is your first time voting at this polling place, be sure to bring a photo ID. If this is NOT your first time voting at your polling place, you do NOT need to bring your voter registration card or ID -- you can just go in!
- Call 1-866-OUR-VOTE if you have an issue at the polling place or anything else you want to ask or report about your voting experience!
Remember that as long as you are IN LINE to vote at 8 PM, you are allowed to vote!
If you have any other questions about voting on Election Day, check out this fantastic Q&A or just reply to this email and we’ll try to help!
And if you still need to fill out and return your mail-in ballot, here’s what you need to know:
- Fill out your ballot completely.
- Seal your ballot in the inner secrecy envelope, which you’ll put into the pre-addressed outer envelope.
-
Make sure to sign and date the voter’s declaration on the *outside* of the outer return envelope.
-
Return it to your closest ballot drop off location in your county by 8 PM on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8. You can find a list at https://vote.pa/return/?org=cvpa. We are no longer recommending mailing your ballot this close to Election Day - please put your ballot in a designated drop box or deliver it to your county election office.
- Once returned, you can track your ballot status online at https://vote.pa/track/?org=cvpa#0. It’s a fantastic resource to know your ballot has been received and gets processed after Election Day.
When you vote, please cast your vote for Josh Shapiro and other CVPA endorsed candidates up and down the ballot – see who we endorsed!
Just a reminder that It’s going to take time for local election officials to make sure every vote is counted accurately, and we likely won’t know many results on election night or even the day after.
There’s a lot on this line this cycle, and we want to make sure you know how the results will impact you and your community – so please join us on November 16 for a webinar where we’ll break down the election results we have and answer your questions!
This is it! Let’s do it, Pennsylvania.
