No, really, when are you free today, because WFP has a virtual campaign office to get out the vote by calling and texting voters — and we need you there!
It’ll be a team effort to get out the vote from our virtual campaign office through Election Day, and we have shifts with activities and at times that work for everyone. We’ll keep the office up and running from 3PM until 9PM EDT today, Tuesday November 7th and Election Day tomorrow, November 8th — and we’re inviting you to show up at any time, for as long as you’re available.
There's plenty of opportunities for you to pitch depending on your schedule, and lots of ways to help depending on your mood!
If you’re feeling social, make it a party — come by the virtual campaign office with some snacks and friends (or find new ones here) and make some calls with us for WFP candidates. If you’ve never done it before, now is the perfect time to start — and don’t worry, we’ll walk you through the whole process and be there to answer all your questions. If you’re feeling more like Netflix and chill (or, let’s face it, Netflix and doom-scrolling) —why not bring those scrolling thumbs to our virtual campaign office for some text banking? All you have to do is click and type, following a straightforward script, from the peaceful solitude of your own couch. You’ll be sharing key information with hundreds of voters at a time, in races where just a few of those voters could make all the difference. Ready to text bank with us?

And if you’re feeling the motivation and momentum this midterm election like never before, try facilitating a shift! You don’t have to commit lots of hours — in just a short shift you can multiply the impact by helping a whole team of volunteers learn how to phone or text bank. WFP staff will be there to support you if it’s your first time facilitating, and you’ll get the chance to connect with other volunteers in a unique, powerful way while making a huge difference.
