Hi John, The last day to vote in the D.C. General Election is tomorrow, November 8! All registered voters should have automatically received a ballot in the mail, though Vote Centers are also open for in-person voting tomorrow from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you still need to vote, make an informed voting plan and find where to cast a ballot. Find where to vote or where to return your ballot! You can cast your vote by returning your completed ballot by mail, making sure that it's postmarked on or before Election Day, November 8, and received by the Board of Elections no later than Tuesday, November 15. You can also return your completed ballot in person by taking it to a ballot dropbox or Vote Center by tomorrow, November 8. And if you're not already registered to vote, you can register and vote in person on Election Day, November 8. In order to do so, you will need to complete a Voter Registration Application, swear or affirm that you are qualified to vote, and provide valid proof of residence. Whether it’s at the national or local level, every election matters — and our democracy depends on people like you exercising their right to vote. Remember that if you encounter any problems voting, call 866-OUR-VOTE or text OUR VOTE to 97779. Thanks for doing your part to make your voice heard. Deirdre, Rock the Vote |
