Today, I'm reaching out to talk about a fellow activist, mom, and St. Louisan: Cori Bush.

During a trip home last month, I visited Cori's office and was so inspired by the people-powered campaign she's built for Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and reproductive justice. Speaking with Cori and her team was energizing and encouraging about the future of St. Louis — and the country as a whole.

She understands the stakes of this moment and what we're up against in Missouri intimately. Missouri was the first state to ban abortion once Roe v. Wade was overturned and it's home to dangerous far-right extremism including an insurrectionist U.S. senator.
