Team -- I'm keeping this one incredibly short and sweet. My team and I are facing a unique challenge, and I figured the best thing to do was just tell you about it:

At midnight, the ball will drop and we'll ring in the new year. Usually, this calls for a celebration -- but not this time. There's something else happening at midnight: our team will be closing the books on our most important FEC fundraising deadline so far.

I know, the timing is a challenge. But whether or not we reach this goal will determine the resources we can muster to hire more staff and enact our plan to save Minnesota's Senate seat.

This deadline falls on one of the most difficult times for fundraising, and I'm worried we won't reach our 2019 goal before the clock runs out. But we simply cannot afford to fall short.

So, I'm trying to raise what I can before midnight, and I need your help. That's why I'm asking you to donate anything you can right now. I know it's sort of an unusual request to drop in your inbox on New Year's Eve, but it's really important.
