John — it all comes down to Tuesday.
We have all put in the work. We have all knocked doors, made calls, and talked with our families and friends. We have donated and volunteered. We have taken back the House, won the Senate, and defeated Trump.
And yet, on Tuesday, everything we have worked for is at stake. And more than just the House or Senate.
Simply put, if Republicans win on Tuesday, we all lose.
We lose on abortion. We lose on Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. We lose on drug prices and healthcare. We lose on gun safety.
We lose on climate change. We lose on corporate greed. We lose on personal freedoms. We lose LGBTQ equality. We lose on the economy.
We lose on democracy. And we lose on protecting free and fair elections. Not just in 2024, but potentially for years and years to come.
It’s worth asking who wins if Republicans win Tuesday. Here’s who wins:
The wealthiest Americans and largest corporations. The biggest polluters and oil companies. The gun companies.
The most extreme right-wing elements of the MAGA party. Big pharmaceutical companies. And those extremists fighting to take away personal freedoms.
That’s who will really win if Republicans win on Tuesday. We can’t let that happen. We just can’t.
That’s why I’m running for reelection. Because our work is not done.
For the last six years, I’ve been helping to lead the charge to protect our democracy from would-be autocrats. I’ve been helping lead the charge to end gun violence. And I’ve helped lead the charge to fight climate change and get universal healthcare.
And I’m not done. Far from it.
I hope that I’ve earned your support. I hope that I’ve earned your vote. And I hope that I’ve earned your trust. Because the next two years will be incredibly tough, and I’m ready for that fight too.
