[Join us for International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day on Saturday, November 19, 2022]([link removed])

International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is coming up on Saturday, November 19. Also known as Survivor Day, this annual occasion is an opportunity for suicide loss survivors to gather at events around the world and find comfort through shared experience.

Those who attend Survivor Day events find them to be a welcome source of collective support during what can be a particularly difficult time of year for those who have lost someone. The holiday season often brings reminders of loved ones, and Survivor Day is an opportunity to talk openly about the healing process with others who have also been affected by suicide loss.

[In a post for AFSP's Real Stories blog]([link removed]), suicide loss survivor Becky Olson wrote, "Participating in Survivor Day serves as a reminder that we are not alone in our grief, or in experiencing these heightened emotions. It provided me a supportive boost for the challenging weeks ahead."

You are not alone, and we hope that you join a Survivor Day event near you to connect with others in your community.
