I wrote to you one year ago and told you that I wanted you to wake up on November 8, 2022 feeling confident that you did everything you could to keep Paul LePage and the GOP’s divisiveness out of Maine politics.

Now, we’re finally meeting that moment — and the stakes are so much higher than even one year ago. Since then, cities and states around the country have rolled back LGBTQ+ rights, Republicans across the country rushed to ban abortion in the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe, and our democracy is still under attack.

Tomorrow is our biggest fight yet. We couldn’t have made it this far without your support, so I’m hoping you can step up again and help us stay strong. Please pitch in any amount you can towards our $25,000 goal.

When I wrote to you last year I also left you with a promise to organize in every corner of the state. Because of supporters like you on our team, we were able to get it done. Maine Dems knocked doors, made calls, and had essential conversations with voters almost every day thanks to you.

These final days are our best chance to fight the GOP’s extreme agenda from taking over our own politics and communities. We don’t know what things will look like in one year, so we have to do everything we can to fight today.
