John,Â
We are just hours from a historic election that will determine our
newest elected officials, from within our communities to the halls of
Congress. (Haven't placed your vote yet? Find your polling place here

No matter who is elected on Tuesday, one thing is abundantly clear:
Congress must act swiftly to pass immigration reforms. The last time
expansive immigration reform was passed by Congress and enacted was in
1986 - more than 35 years ago. There is overwhelming support
<[link removed]>
for legislation that would address key components of our broken
immigration system - providing a permanent solution for Dreamers and
TPS holders, modernizing our agricultural workforce, and enacting
secure, humane, and sensible border solutions. Â
Now more than ever, it's clear that Congress should take long-overdue
action to pass needed immigration reforms and work with administration
officials to improve border management with solutions that are secure,
orderly, and humane. That's why next week, we're taking action all
week long to urge our representatives in Washington, D.C. to pass
long-overdue incremental reforms. Â
Mark your calendars and join us on November 14th-18th as we use our
voices on e-mail, social media, and over the phone to make sure our
members of Congress know we need them to act now.
