I’m not going to try and grab your attention with flashy alarm sirens or highlighted segments of text that make it sound like the world is going to end or the sky is falling.

Yes, my team is less than two days away from our monthly fundraising goal. And, yes, we’re still $14,092 short of what we need to bring in online to hit that goal in time.

But I’m not hoping you will donate because of some over-the-top email. I hope you will donate because you support me, the work we’ve done over the past month, and because you are committed to protecting the progress we’ve spent years fighting for.
