Your October return and payment for Cigarette Tax or Tobacco Tax are due November 18.

You can file your return and pay any tax due electronically through e-Services [ [link removed] ].

Holiday Schedule for Cigarette Stamp Orders

The cigarette stamp order ship dates are as follows for the weeks of:


* *Veterans Day*: Tuesday, November 8, and *Thursday, November 10*
* *Thanksgiving*: Monday, November 21, and Tuesday, November 22
* *Christmas*: Tuesday, December 27, and Friday, December 30
* *New Year's*: Tuesday, January 3, and Friday, January 6

We must receive your order by 10 a.m. for same-day shipping. We will process orders received after 10 a.m. on the next shipping day.

Cigarette Tax Rates for 2023

The following tax rates apply to cigarette sales on or after January 1, 2023:


* *Excise Tax*: 15.2 cents per cigarette
* *Sales Tax*: 69.2 cents per pack of 20 cigarettes (for packages with a different quantity, adjust tax proportionally)
