Haley and I are prepping a fundraising update for the Governor and Lt. Governor this afternoon, and I’ll just say it: With more than $60,000 left to raise before our last budget deadline (midnight tonight) of the election, it’s going to be a hard conversation.

Even though Scott Jensen and Matt Birk’s priorities are drastically out of step with our values as Minnesotans, this is a very, very close race. A recent poll from the Trafalgar Group even showed Governor Walz trailing Jensen. 

The dishonest attack ads against Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan are already absolutely relentless. We’re losing ground, and if we fall short of our last budget target, we won’t be able to execute the statewide Get Out The Vote push we’re counting on to put us over the edge tomorrow.


John, according to our records, you haven’t donated yet this year, so I’m reaching out to you first – because if there was ever a time when Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan needed your support, it’s right now.
