I'm not going to try and get your attention with flashy alarm sirens or highlighted segments of text that make it sound like the world is going to end.

Yes, my team is hours away from our end-of-year fundraising goal. And, yes, we're still $2,437 short of what we need to bring in online to hit that goal in time.

But I'm not hoping you will donate because of some over-the-top email. I hope you will donate because you support me, my work, and are committed to protecting the progress we've spent years fighting for.
