John: Politico just downgraded this key race to a “toss-up.”

Republicans know that the path to the Senate majority runs through New Hampshire. That's why they're swooping in at the last minute with MILLIONS of dollars to boost Don Bolduc to victory.

And if this downgrade is any indication, their efforts are working. Two back-to-back polls show me trailing Don Bolduc by one point.

If we don't see a strong surge of grassroots support, we will lose this race and, with it, our Senate majority. But thanks to a generous group of donors who are matching all gifts up to $50,000, we have a real shot at hitting our emergency fundraising goal.

We always knew this race was going to be close – in 2016, I won by just 1,017 votes. But this race will truly come down to the slimmest margin, so every dollar, every door knocked, and every ad matters.
