John – I got into this race because I am tired of politicians who put the WANTS of large donors before the NEEDS of the people they represent.
I got into this race because I’m a single dad of two amazing boys I adopted out of foster care, and I want them to have a future where they can thrive.
I got into this race because there has never been an openly gay man elected to the United States Senate, and I think it’s time to change that.
Republicans have a lot of plans for Congress next year.
If they retake the majority in Congress they are plotting to slash Social Security, pass a national ban on abortion, abolish marriage equality, and generally roll back the clock to the pre-Civil Rights era.
But we can stop them on Tuesday.
Idaho is not a red state, it’s a non-voting state. Democratic voter registrations surged after the overturn of Roe v Wade. And with a far-right independent candidate on the ballot diluting the conservative vote, this year is our very best chance to defeat the GOP incumbent who has been our Senator for nearly a quarter of a century.
We’ve got to turn out EVERY Democratic voter possible to do it, but it can be done.
Only about a quarter of eligible voters have cast their ballots, which means there is still time for us to sway people on the fence before they head to the polls on Tuesday.
We can make history this Tuesday, John. Will you join me?
David Roth is a single, gay dad running to flip a U.S. Senate seat in Idaho. His opponent is an extremist “pro-life” Republican who’s been in politics for 37 years. David stepped up to serve the state that has been his home most of his life, where he is now raising his two young sons, because every state is worth fighting for. There has never been an openly gay man elected to the U.S. Senate. Help us make history this year. Pitch in now to flip this seat and send David to D.C.
