 John, I’m humbled and honored to be running for Governor of Pennsylvania. The general election is almost over — will you join us, and donate $5 right now? I’m a Pennsylvanian. I was raised here, and my wife Lori and I are raising our four kids just a few miles down the road from where I grew up. I’ve spent my career serving the people of our Commonwealth, as a State Representative, a County Commissioner, and now as the People’s Attorney General. We need all hands on deck to hold on to Pennsylvania in just two days, and I’m ready to work hard with this team to make it happen. During this campaign and as your next Governor, I’m going to take my cues from people in places like West Philly and Washington County — not from special interests in Washington, DC or big corporations trying to screw over Pennsylvanians. Because I’m not working for them — I’m working for you. We’re facing unprecedented challenges here in Pennsylvania, but I’ve taken on the big fights for the communities we call home — delivering for working families and holding special interests and bad actors accountable. I’ve spent my career taking on the big and powerful, whether it was taking on well-connected corporate interests to protect health care for nearly two million Western Pennsylvanians, holding accountable predator priests to get justice for survivors after decades of sexual abuse and cover-ups, or standing up to Trump’s election lies in the courtroom to protect our democracy. As Pennsylvania’s Governor, I’ll keep taking on those big fights. I’ll fight to defend your right to vote, I’ll fight to defend access to abortion, and I’ll fight to defend our democracy — right here in the birthplace of our nation.
