Everyone is watching this race. My colleagues in Congress see this as a test case for whether someone can successfully stand up to party leaders to do what’s right. And the partisan establishment wants to take me out because I threaten its grip on power.

We need to send them a message that the American people want independent-minded, constitutionally dedicated representation in Congress.

Everywhere I go in the district, people are offering words of support and encouragement. It’s overwhelming. I’m humbled and thankful to represent such an amazing community. But I’m going to need resources to compete against a candidate supported by a political party with unlimited means. I’m going to need help from everyone—including you.
