Our current representative is working against the people of Northern Michigan and the UP. On Tues. Nov. 8, Jack Bergman must be replaced. We have just three days. Dr. Bob needs all of us to come out in droves on Election Day. Can we count on you?
We’re facing out-of-control childcare costs, a housing shortage, a lack of healthcare and mental health services, a lack of jobs, and a severe need to improve our VA for Veterans. Yet, our current representative has not offered meaningful solutions to address these issues in his six years in office. Dr. Bob Lorinser evaluates problems differently – by looking for the root cause of the issue like he would when he was a family physician. Preventative care is the best approach to fixing the issues we see today, and that requires new leadership in Congress. Bob Lorinser has spent his career working across the political divide to get results that work for everyone. Here's an example - what Doc said today about healthcare: Alcoholism causes one in five American deaths and the US has the highest rate of drug overdoses in the world. Over 125 citizens die by suicide every day, and 20% of Americans suffer from mental health conditions. Mental healthcare is healthcare and Michigan's 1st District is struggling without rural resources and services. We need a doctor in the House.
