Throughout this campaign cycle my opponent has relied on attacks about me to move his campaign forward. He could have been focusing on the needs of our community but he doubled down the past several weeks and spent hundreds of thousands of dollars attacking me again. His attacks were so polarizing that it got the attention from New York Times, Los Angeles Times and The Guardian.
The next part saddens me to share but if you haven't heard, last weekend we heard that my opponent's canvasser was using anti-Asian rhetoric about me and my campaign.
LAist and
Korea Daily wrote about the incident, however, my opponent is yet to apologize to me, members of the AAPI community and those affected by the anti-Asian racist comment. We need leaders that will work to unite us, not divide us and that is what I will continue to do.
We have two days left and we're feeling the momentum! We hope you join us if you can in any of our GOTV efforts these final days!
We're so close, let's win this
