John, it's Trudy. I just left a meeting with my team, and I've got good news and bad news.
|
The good news is that our grassroots fundraising over the last few days has been record breaking. I am so humbled and honored by this incredible outpouring of support for our campaign. You can build on this momentum by rushing a donation here: https://secure.actblue.com/contribute/page/tbv-email

I know that politics and advocacy can feel pretty hopeless these days; it's tempting to just give up and tune out when you're faced with so much hatred, extremism, and cynicism. But I also know we can overcome these forces, which is why, in part, I am running for Senate in the first place. And I'm truly inspired to watch so many of you join my campaign, stand with me, and believe in a better future.
|
But like I said, I've got bad news too. Despite all of the support we've been getting, we're still only 71% of the way to our urgent get-out-the-vote goal, and our midnight deadline is just a few hours away.
With the election just TWO DAYS AWAY, this is our last chance to gather the grassroots resources it'll take to turn out voters on Election Day. We really can't fall short here.
|
I'll be straight with you: I can win this election – but not unless grassroots supporters like you stand with me during this final stretch. So please, before my midnight deadline, will you rush a donation to help me win on Tuesday and bring compassion back to Washington? Here's the best link to give: https://secure.actblue.com/contribute/page/tbv-email

I'm so grateful to have you on this team.
Warmly,
Trudy
