John, did you see this article from The New Yorker?

How Election Subversion Went Mainstream in Pennsylvania
In the state’s midterms—which could determine the balance of the Senate and the integrity of the Presidential race in 2024—Democrats are fighting for the vote. Republicans are fighting to undermine it.
By Eliza Griswold

It’s an incredible deep dive into the Commonwealth’s recently insurgent far-right movement, and it’s absolutely correct.

To continue to have a democracy in 2024, we need to fight for votes and mobilize the Commonwealth’s historically disenfranchised voters to join us now.

The early vote data is encouraging, but we all know how these extremists have pushed the GOP towards not voting until Election Day.

Put that all together, and you get one clear conclusion: we can’t leave anything to chance.

John, we must mobilize like our democracy depends on it until the polls close — and even then, we need to stay on high alert until the results are certified. Will you invest $10 in our democracy right now to help us empower PA’s youth, immigrants, Black, Indigenous, and other people of color to make their voices heard at the polls?

The New Pennsylvania Project was founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate, so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. In the next four years, NPP will engage and empower young residents and those living in underrepresented immigrant communities and communities of color. We register communities to vote, provide civic education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize Pennsylvanians to vote in every election.
