First, Politico reported that “Governor races could turn the battle for the [U.S.] Senate.”

>> We’re supporting Democrats for governor in 13 key races.

Then CNN reported that “The future of American elections could depend on these five [secretary of state] races.”

>> We’re supporting Democrats for secretary of state in five swing states.

Now, FiveThirtyEight is reporting that “The Most Important Elections Of 2022 Could Be In State Legislatures.”

>> And we’re supporting 462 legislative candidates all over the country!

But John, there’s almost NO time left! If you want to make a difference in these races and in protecting our democracy, you MUST give now!

Why is winning down the ballot so vital? Because Republicans could win one or both houses of the U.S. Congress in two days!

If that happens, according to FiveThirtyEight, “the only policymaking of note for the next two years [could] take place on the state level... [So the] races for state legislature and governor are arguably the more important ones on the ballot this year.”

That’s to say nothing of the key role state legislatures, governors, and secretaries of state could play – or not – in defending free and fair elections!
