This spring will mark six years since I sat at my computer reading an email from MoveOn, just as you are now, and I decided to take action. It was during the early days of the Trump administration, and I was looking for a way to get more involved in the fight for health care, equality, gun control, action on climate change, women's rights, and so much more. Something about that email drew me in, and the rest is history.

Today, I work as a squad coordinator for some of the MoveOn members who volunteer in our Community Support Team, a dedicated group that supports a range of MoveOn's wide-scale, people-powered activities. One of these teams provides support for MoveOn's phone banks, which have been empowering MoveOn members to make hundreds of thousands of calls over recent weeks. I cannot say enough about how excited we are to be working with other MoveOn volunteers as they make calls to voters in key states—helping us win this election one voter at a time.

With just days to go before the election, I hope that this email will be the one that makes you think, "I want to be involved in this cause"—whether you're a frequent volunteer motivated to sign up for another shift or two or a first-timer inspired to act. I want to be part of the change that this country so desperately needs and believe you do too.

From now through Election Day MoveOn is running phone banks in several shifts each day, including on November 8. These offer you the opportunity to chat with like-minded people in key states. You'll be reminding them to vote and then asking them if they will remind at least three family members or friends to vote as well. With so much at stake, it is more important than ever to make sure everyone is casting a vote. And our team of phone bank support volunteers is there to help you every step of the way.
