Aloha! My 'ohana and I wish you and yours the very best of the holidays.

As we close out 2019, I need and ask for your help.

My current term in the U.S. House of Representatives (2019-2021) is just about half over. I have done my level best to represent all of Hawai'i in charting a better path forward for our country on our many challenges. I have also used my service on the Appropriations Committee and otherwise to assure that Hawaii's needs are addressed in DC, and have done everything I can to stay in touch back home.

Despite the tumult on Capitol Hill, I have stayed focused on these responsibilities and have achieved most of my goals for my first year back in Congress. 2020 will be equally if not more challenging, and my focus will remain solely on serving my country, Hawai'i and you.

But I'm also looking beyond next year and am seeking re-election to the 117th Congress (2021-2023). This will be a critical Congress not just for our country but for Hawai'i as a brand new U.S. Representative steps into the responsibilities of our just four Member delegation. If re-elected, my own role in carrying Hawaii's representation in the U.S. House and getting my new partner up to speed as fast as possible will also be critical.
