I don’t want to scare you, but I need to be transparent. In the past two weeks, national Republicans have spent $1.5 million to blanket Minnesota in attack ads against me.

Here’s the reality: Even though Jensen and Birk’s priorities are drastically out of step with our values as Minnesotans, it’s become increasingly clear that this is a very, very close race. And national Republicans think they can put him over the edge.

Election analysts downgraded my re-election chances three times in a row, and recent polling from the Trafalgar Group showed me trailing (with plenty of “undecided” voters to put Jensen over the top).

With Minnesotans already casting their ballots and time running out to hold the line, we need to give these final three days everything we have.

John, I know this team is up to the task. But with volunteers pouring in, we can’t fully fund our Get Out The Vote operations unless we raise another $73,244 by tomorrow night – our last fundraising goal of this election.
