This isn’t an unfounded fear, friends. Marjorie Taylor Greene recently said that in order to make the Republican base happy, Kevin McCarthy will need to give her “a lot of power,” if Republicans win control of the House.
And McCarthy appears happy to oblige. He’s been elevating Greene and her extremist views while cozying up to Donald Trump to try to placate the most extreme Republicans.
