As you know, this election will bring many new faces to Congress, most of whom will be new to the issues our community cares about most.
Consider this. Before the first elections results come in on Tuesday, we already know:
At least 75 new members of Congress will be elected to office.
75% of Congress has already turned over since 2008.
This will be the ninth straight election cycle to bring in more than 50 new members of Congress.
No matter who is elected, it will be up to us to educate and engage with both new and returning members of Congress to ensure they are fully informed before casting critical votes affecting Israel’s future.
With ongoing turmoil and instability across the Middle East—and so much at stake for the United States and Israel—we must be ready for this important work.
