Over the course of the campaign, I’ve had the honor of traveling all across the district, meeting with community leaders and voters. I hear about their lives and listen to their concerns. People share with me the issues that matter most to them and their families – everything from high health care and prescription drug costs to the ways the education system has let their children down.

After talking to thousands of people all over IL-13, one thing is clear: for far too long, Illinois’ working families have not had a true advocate in Congress. 

Look, it’s time for change. I’ve spent my entire career standing up for working families, and in just 3 days, I’m ready to flip IL-13 blue and take my fight to Congress.
