I’ve been serving my country for 25 years: first as a nuclear officer in the Navy, and then as a member of Congress.

And no matter what task I took on – operating nuclear reactors, enforcing oil sanctions in the Middle East, or investigating the January 6th attack on our Capitol – I have always relied on science, data, and hard facts to guide tough decisions.

Right now, all of the facts tell me that we’re in serious trouble.

Polls show me tied with my opponent and Republicans only need five seats to flip the House; if we lose VA-02, we’ll almost certainly lose control of Congress.

National Republicans are already attacking our right to abortion, lying to us about the immediate and devastating impact of climate change, and spreading disinformation about the integrity of our elections nationwide. And if they have the House, nothing will stand in their way.

I need your support to make sure we have historic Democratic turnout on Election Day in this highly consequential battleground race. We’re falling $12,903 short of our Get Out the Vote Fund goal – will you help us close the gap by chipping in $25?
