Dear friend,
With Election Day getting closer and closer, I’m reminded of why I ran for office in the first place — and why I’m continuing on this path of public service. Throughout my career as an attorney, whistleblower, and advocate for workers and public schools, I’ve seen — and experienced — the ways our state has failed to meet the needs of its constituents.
I ran for State Senate in 2018 to expand the rights of workers, make our government more accessible and transparent, and invest in our schools and students. During my first term in office, I’ve done exactly that:
