I ran for Fairbanks City Council in 1999 to serve the community where I’ve lived my whole life. As a state representative and state senator, I have worked hard every day to get things done for my constituents. Nikki and Shaun recently reached out to me for help, and I didn’t hesitate.

Our state needs leaders in Juneau that are working for all of us as Alaskans - whether that’s helping track down an important official document or passing important legislation. I’m proud of my legislative accomplishments, including:

• Extending the Suicide Prevention Council and enhancing resources to combat this critical issue

• Securing millions of dollars in the Capital Budget for Fairbanks, to fund projects like helping renovating the Moore Street Senior Center

• Making sure military spouses can get the occupational licenses they need to work in their fields.
