Running for Senate required a big leap of faith — faith in our mission and faith that enough people like you would step up to support us. Winning a race as tough as this has to be a team effort. It requires all of us to do the hard work together.
It means so much to me to know that hundreds of thousands of people have donated to this campaign. I’m grateful to every person who has raised their hand to say they believe in our campaign and share our vision for a brighter future. Grassroots donations from folks like you allowed us to make critical investments that have put us in a strong position to win on Tuesday.
It’s humbling to think about the people-powered movement we’ve built.
Now I need folks like you to come through for our campaign once more. We noticed a bit of a fundraising slowdown yesterday, and honestly, it was a bit concerning because we’re trying to make the largest get-out-the-vote push we’ve ever attempted this weekend. The organizing goals are higher than ever before.

My opponent Ted Budd thinks he can just let special interests buy this seat for him, and in return, he’ll continue doing exactly what he’s done in Congress — voting to keep the system rigged in favor of billionaires and corporations.
He will fight for a future where abortion is banned in every state, where marriage equality is overturned, and where corporations continue to rip off our families while they rake in record profits. It’s time for change.
North Carolina desperately needs a voice for working people in the U.S. Senate — not someone who will cater to corporations or special interests. I believe we deserve a leader in Washington who understands the hopes and needs of our families and fights for them. She must not be afraid to stand up to the powerful insiders and interests desperate to uphold a corrupt status quo.
That is exactly what I will do, but first, we have to make sure we have the resources to get across the finish line and win.
