John,

DFA staff are on-the-ground in states across the country supporting our
endorsed candidates from the top of the ticket to local races. We can
assure you the energy around progressive candidates is high.

The excitement is palpable in the campaign offices of State Senate and
State House candidates such as Kim Nagy (MI SD-31), Jim Obegrefell (OH
HD-89), Nabilah Islam (GA SD-7), and Christy Clark (NC HD-98). These are
just four of our endorsed Purple to Blue candidates that we hope to elect
but there is a slew of others we hope will help flip state houses in
battleground states.

In our statewide Establish Justice races, we have progressive Attorney
General candidates Keith Ellison - MN, Dana Nessel - MI, Letitia James -
NY, Andrea Campbell - MA, Rob Bonta - CA, and Aramis Ayala - FL. All are
fighting hard in the face of extreme rhetoric coming from their opponents.
Their vision for justice in the United States includes bold progressive
policies and a criminal justice system that serves all people equally.

I have to mention our 50-state strategy candidates:

Danielle Helzer is a public school teacher running for Nebraska State
Board of Education District 6. She has been combing across Nebraska
searching for progressive voters and asking them to believe in a public
education system that empowers students to think critically without
fear.

Megan Green is running for President of the Board of Alderman St. Louis,
a city that was just plagued by another mass shooting in a public
school.

Daniela Silva is running for City Council in Austin’s third district.
Her voice as a queer, Latina, progressive is just the kind of diversity
we need at the local level. These candidates align with our DFA values
and have committed to fight for them where we can feel it most - home.

It feels like we’re on the right track and what we’re seeing on the ground
looks promising, despite what the polls say, but we can’t take anything
for granted. Every campaign still needs to reach every voter possible if
we’re going to bring it home.

[ [link removed] ]We can win these races. We can turn Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina,
Ohio, and states across the nation blue. DFA Members can put these
candidates over the top on Election Day, but we need your help. Please
contribute anything you can right now >>

With so much focus on federal races in the House and Senate by the
national media, it’s easy to forget about all of the state and local
elections happening around the country on Tuesday.

Whether it’s voter targeting and turnout modeling or volunteer
recruitment, candidate mentoring or hands-on management of phone banks,
door knocking, or all of the above, DFA is playing a critical role in GOTV
for strong progressives across the nation.

Our staff is with DFA members and campaigns around the country to make
sure we flip as many states as we can, but this work depends on you. The
more resources we have -- the more texts we can send, the more calls we
can make, and the more doors we can knock and all of that work is so
important in these last few days. [ [link removed] ]Chip in $23.19 (our average this
year) or whatever you can afford to help DFA GOTV this weekend!

Let’s do this. Let’s make our voices heard and let’s fight to protect our
progressive values.

Thank you for everything you're doing.
