This week, the Cook Political Report labeled Katie Porter’s House re-election race a toss-up and shifted other Democratic races in Republicans’ direction.
Almost at the same time, Katie Porter was on MSNBC telling Chris Hayes that corporate consolidation and price gouging is the biggest factor driving inflation -- and putting it in terms every voter can relate to:
"Let’s be clear what 'pricing power' feels like to a mom like me in the grocery store. It feels like getting ripped off by Wall Street, because that’s exactly what’s happening.”
