We have less than 72 hours until the polls open for Election Day, and our grassroots volunteer team has fanned out across the Peach State this weekend to connect with voters. We’re bound and determined to outwork the left and we’re leaving no stone unturned.
We’re reminding folks that Governor Kemp has delivered big results and will Keep Choppin’ over the next four years to keep Georgia the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
• Governor Kemp has made economic relief for hardworking Georgians a top priority – getting gas tax relief, a $1 billion tax rebate, and a $1 billion tax cut across the finish line to help families deal with the impacts of Bidenflation.
In a second term, he’d work to pass another $1 billion rebate along with a $1 billion package to fund property tax relief for homeowners.
• Georgia was the first state to reopen during the COVID-19 pandemic, saving countless small businesses, and Governor Kemp has worked hard to keep Georgia competitive. Our state has been named #1 for business for nine years in a row, we’ve broken economic development records over the last year, and today we're at our lowest unemployment rate in state history.
• Governor Kemp is strongly backed by law enforcement for good reason. He stood up to the woke mob to prevent rogue local governments from defunding police departments, he’s worked alongside law enforcement to crack down on gangs, and he led efforts to get tougher penalties for violent crime on the books.
In a second term, he will build on his track record of success by increasing penalties for gang recruitment of minors, implementing a database for gang research and prevention, reforming the “own recognizance” bond system to keep dangerous criminals behind bars, and creating a tuition assistance program for those seeking to become members of our state’s law enforcement community or medical examiners.
• He stood strong to secure our elections, making it easy to vote and hard to cheat, and refused to back down when the left launched a campaign of lies to attack Georgia.
• Governor Kemp knows that our kids are our future, and he’s made improving our public school education system another top priority. He instituted a historic teacher pay raise, allocated $30,000 per school for increased security, reduced high-stakes testing, and oversaw the removal of Math Common Core standards and replaced them with standards that put teachers and students first.
In a second term, he will build on these historic successes by focusing on learning loss caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, increasing our educator and school counselor workforce, and implementing stronger school safety measures.
