This is urgent, folks — Self-proclaimed “MAGA warrior” Bo Hines has made it clear that he would do everything in his power to roll back abortion rights if he wins election to North Carolina’s 13th Congressional District.
FIRST: Hines applauded the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade .
THEN: Then he promised that if he’s elected, he would push far-right, anti-abortion agenda that would severely restrict women’s ability to make their own health decisions and access reproductive care.
NOW: Just this week, he floated a proposal to allow a woman or girl who is a victim of rape or incest to be permitted to have an abortion only if a local review committee gives its consent.
Let’s be clear: Bo Hines is a threat to reproductive freedoms in North Carolina. Women, not local government officials (!) , should make these decisions. His Democratic opponent Wiley Nickel is committed to ensuring access to abortion health care in North Carolina and around the country. The choice in this race is clear.
