Praise God for survivors in Ghana who are finding their strength and discovering the power of their voices and stories to reach leaders. One group completed a training on the power of story and were enthusiastic about what they had learned. One participant said, "Since I was born, I never stood before people to talk, but now I have the confidence to stand in front of people to talk." Praise God for these wonderful leaders and pray for their strong voices to carry far!
Latin America
Please pray for our IJM team in El Salvador as they enable partners in the community to support victims. Join us in praying for God’s wisdom as the team finds and selects partners in the fight to protect women and children from violence.
South Asia
Please pray for a number of legal cases that seem to be stalled in local courts. Many judges are still working through a backlog of cases after the COVID-19 lockdowns. Pray they could get through important cases quickly, especially before government offices begin to close at the end of the year. Pray IJM and our partners would be ready to go whenever these critical anti-slavery cases are called.
Asia Pacific
Please pray for our team and clients in the Philippines that have been affected by Super Tropical Storm Nalgae. Pray for those whose homes have been flooded and lost power. Please pray for safety for our staff, clients, partners and their families.
