I hope you’re having a great weekend so far. I, for one, am feeling very optimistic and thankful this morning. That’s because in a couple of hours Team Sorensen staff and volunteers will be out knocking on doors and calling voters across the 17th District to get out the vote. I look forward to joining them shortly!
Throughout this campaign, my team and I have been blown away by the grassroots support we’ve seen from Illinoisans of all stripes. From the bottom of my heart, friend, I want to thank you for pushing us this far. Now it’s time to turn out as many voters as we can – and we’re turning to supporters like you for help once again.

With each passing day, voters are beginning to realize what’s at stake for our community in this race. I was born and raised in this district, and I will always stand up for the people of IL-17 if elected to Congress. I’ll fight for lower healthcare costs, reproductive freedom, and the safety of our communities. My far-right opponent is more interested in padding her political resume than she is in those important issues.
In such a close race, the candidate with the strongest voter turnout push will likely end up riding that momentum to victory. Please, help buoy our get out the vote efforts this weekend and keep IL-17 blue.
