Thirty years after experiencing a sexual assault on a college campus, “part of me is always in that dorm room,” writes Craig Maier, whose story illuminates how toxic masculinity, rape culture and patriarchal attitudes can lead to violence against men, too. While 26.4% of undergraduate women experience rape or sexual assault, about 6.8% of male undergraduates experience rape or sexual assault.
