I’ve seen the impact Josh has had since he entered public service and became Attorney General — especially how he handled the opioid crisis. I’m a doctor, and I’m proud that my son took the lead in the courts against the big pharmaceutical companies responsible for excessive opioid distribution throughout Pennsylvania and across the country. The settlement will provide funds for necessary opioid treatment for those in distress in every county in the Commonwealth.

All of that was accomplished while he continued to protect health care for millions of Pennsylvanians, defend our democracy when it was under attack, and pursued justice for victims of sexual abuse.

I am so proud to see that through every challenge he’s encountered, he’s becoming more connected with Pennsylvanians — and even more driven to fight for them. I was with Josh on the night he announced his campaign to become Pennsylvania’s next Governor to keep taking on the big fights for us, and it was a surreal moment.

To watch Josh, someone who cares so deeply about what he’s doing, spend his days fighting to make Pennsylvanians’ lives better makes me so proud — as a Pennsylvanian, and as his dad.
