“In 2007, an idealistic 22-year-old Harvard student named Kevin Kiley wrote in his undergraduate thesis that ‘politicians are inclined to do the easy thing — cater to the worldviews of their constituents — rather than offer the more challenging task of self-examination.’ Fifteen years later, Kiley resembles the kind of politician he once disdained.” — The Sacramento Bee

Hey, did you see this article in the Bee about Dr. Kermit’s opponent?

“In 2007, an idealistic 22-year-old Harvard student named Kevin Kiley wrote in his undergraduate thesis that ‘politicians are inclined to do the easy thing — cater to the worldviews of their constituents — rather than offer the more challenging task of self-examination.’ Fifteen years later, Kiley resembles the kind of politician he once disdained.

They go on to point out that Kiley, a once respected moderate, is now not even willing to acknowledge the fact that Joe Biden was fairly elected, poses for photos with neo-Nazis, and associates with people who stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6.

The Bee also notes: “Kiley’s interest in representing his constituents seems to have receded as his political aspirations and extremism have grown. Last year, he missed a total of 272 floor and committee votes.

Friends, Kiley has turned into yet another career politician on his quest for power. We can’t expect him to look out for us in Congress when he’s just looking out for himself. We have 4 days to make sure we send Democrat Dr. Kermit Jones to Congress instead — can you help by chipping in $5 or more today?

As an Iraq War veteran and family doctor, Kermit has always put others first. I know he’ll be a strong advocate for his constituents like he is his patients. Let’s get him elected on Tuesday.

In thanks,

Michaela
