With Donald Trump threatening to run again, we need bold leadership in Congress that won’t back down from big challenges or shy away from bullies who threaten our Democratic ideals.

That ban was an attack on our country’s values: it turned America's back on those in need, eroded our moral standing in the world, and made us less safe. I’m proud that I was part of the effort to take on Trump in federal court.

We need a Congress that will fight to uphold our Democratic ideals, and that means we need to protect our Democratic House Majority.
The good news is that national experts are calling NY-22 the GOP seat most likely to flip from red to blue this fall.
But we can’t take anything for granted. If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the course of my career, it’s that the most important battles are sometimes the toughest ones.
