That’s not how elections work, John. And it exemplifies the transformation of the Republican Party into an undemocratic entity focused on one thing: power.

 

MAGA Republicans don’t actually care how you vote, not if they think they can unfairly get your vote thrown out after the election. If Republican candidates don’t care what you think of them as long as they think they can game the system, then there’s no reason to believe that those candidates will act in anyone’s best interests but their own.

But there’s another concern about Trump’s plan to challenge the results of elections that haven’t even concluded yet: he’s laying the groundwork for a presidential run in 2024. He wants to set a precedent now by sowing doubt in voters’ faith in elections.

 

That’s why it’s VITAL that we elect state leaders who won’t let Trump get away with another Big Lie. We need to elect Stacey Abrams as Governor, Bee Nguyen as Secretary of State, and Jen Jordan as Attorney General. Trump will be coming for Georgia with everything he has in 2024. We embarrassed him in 2020, and he doesn’t want to be embarrassed twice.
