Affordability is on the Ballot
Time for change!

Eversource announced today that customers could see a 40% increase in electricity costs and a 20% increase in natural gas prices come January.  This is on the heels of large increases in home heating oil prices, warnings of diesel fuel shortages, prospects of rolling blackouts here in the Northeast and rising interest rates making life even more unaffordable for many Connecticut residents and businesses.

Some of our residents are falling behind on paying their bills. With the holidays and winter coming, families, seniors and those on fixed incomes are already making tough decisions to heat their homes or put food on the table.

CT ranks 50th in getting Federal Funding coming back to our state and my opponent has voted for every reckless spending bill, including the misnamed “Inflation Reduction Act”, which has poured fuel on the inflation fire (pun intended). Why? Because he is beholden to his party’s leadership rather than the people he is supposed to serve here in southwest Connecticut!

It’s time to expect better!

As your next congresswoman, I will bring my experience of working collaboratively with state and local leaders of all parties to Washington and will ensure that Connecticut residents and businesses are no longer forgotten.
IT’S TIME for a champion to recognize the impacts on people.

IT’S TIME for a champion for Connecticut.

 ABOUT JAYME
I’m running for Congress to bring common sense and balance back to Washington and to give voice to the people of the 4th Congressional District who have been left behind by politicians working for themselves and a national party agenda.  As a trusted leader and mother of five children, I understand the impacts government policies have on our communities and promise to fight for Connecticut children, families and businesses.
