Why won't Pierre Poilievre stand-up for the freedoms of Canadian workers?
Poilievre’s record of fighting against Canadian workers speaks for itself, friend:
He fought against card-check legislation which makes it easier for workers to unionize
He supported a bill, while part of Stephen Harper’s government, that would force unions to disclose their internal finances, without subjecting big corporations to the same rules
He is “a major proponent of bringing US Right-to-Work laws to Canada” which make it more difficult for unions to collect dues

While Pierre Poilievre and the Conservatives are promising reckless policies that would roll back our progress, Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team are as focused as ever keeping Canada moving forward.
Our Liberal government has a strong record of supporting and protecting workers’ rights, including working with unions to ensure 10 days of paid sick leave for all federally-regulated workers and launching a union-led advisory table to bring together unions and trade associations to best position workers to seize new opportunities in the job market.
In the Fall Economic Statement unveiled yesterday, our Liberal government announced even more steps to keep workers supported, including:
✅ Creating a Sustainable Jobs Training Centre and creating a new sustainable jobs stream under the Union Training and Innovation Program
✅ Consulting with unions on how best to attach labour conditions to an investment tax credit for clean technologies
✅ Working with unions to ensure Canada is a premier destination for investment in clean technology manufacturing to create good jobs and build a net-zero economy
This is a plan that outlines new measures for supporting and protecting Canadian workers – and Poilievre has already said that Conservatives will vote against it.
Chip in to help ensure Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team can continue to stand up for Canadian workers and keep Canada moving forward – for everyone.
