Battleground Texas was launched about seven years ago with one mission: Turn Texas -- a historically Republican stronghold -- into a battleground state by treating it like one.

I’m so happy to say that we’ve had more momentum this year than any year since we launched, and that’s all thanks to supporters like you.

But 2020 won’t be easy. We know that if we want to win big, we’ve got to work harder than ever -- that’s why we’ve set some ambitious goals for next year, including winning the Texas State House.

That can’t happen without you. So, if you share these big goals, we’re asking you to make a donation before the end-of-year deadline tonight so we can come out swinging in 2020.

When we launched this organization in 2013, a lot of people said Texas would never be a competitive state for Democrats.

Fast forward to 2019, and we’re seeing national campaigns build up their organizing teams in the Lone Star State, and more Democrats are contesting state legislative races in Texas than Republicans.

I don’t say this lightly, team: This year is our best chance yet to flip Texas. But we can’t do it without the funds we need to build the biggest team we’ve ever had.
