John,
Hi, my name is Luke Warford and I’m running for Railroad Commissioner in Texas.
First, I just wanted to say thank you – as one of the Jane Fonda Climate PAC’s strongest supporters, you have helped Jane and the team have the resources they need to support campaigns like mine!
This is one of the most important climate elections in the country. Despite the title, the Railroad Commission in Texas has very little to do with trains, but everything to do with the fossil fuel industry and the future of clean energy. As Railroad Commissioner, I’ll be responsible for regulating the Oil & Gas industry across the Lone Star State and holding polluters accountable.
Which is why I’m reaching out with an important ask.
With Election Day right around the corner, will you split a contribution between my campaign and the Jane Fonda Climate PAC to ensure we have the resources we need to reach every last voter before November 8?

Texas can be a leader toward a green energy future, and as Railroad Commissioner, I will commit to secure the Texas energy grid, reduce methane and other greenhouse gas emissions, and increase transparency and accountability at the Texas Railroad Commission.
My opponent needs to be held accountable for taking dark money from fossil fuel executives and doing nothing to prevent mass power outages during dangerous winter storms. Winning this race is crucial for the future of climate action in Texas, and the only way to ensure that polluting oil & gas executives are held accountable.
So, John—will you make a split contribution between my campaign and the Jane Fonda Climate PAC to send a resounding message that we are here to win on November 8?

And don’t just take it from me! Check out this special message from Jane.

Grateful for your support,
