Democracy is on the ballot this year, John, and an overwhelming majority of Americans know it.
Here’s why November 8 is so critically important:
–It’s the first national election since the deadly January 6 Insurrection, and it’s Americans’ chance to rebuke attacks of rising extremism against our nation.
–It’s the first election since the Supreme Court stripped away our abortion rights by overturning Roe v. Wade, and women everywhere are fired up to fight back.
–It’s the first election we've ever had with more than 200 election deniers on the ballot, threatening to undermine the fabric of our democracy, and Americans are ready to take back our nation from those who want to destroy it.
We’ve worked too hard to make it this far. Our Democratic majority has allowed us to deliver for the American people. From creating more than 28,000 new jobs and lowering costs for working families through the Inflation Reduction Act to providing student loan forgiveness for millions, Democrats are working every day for the people. I know by protecting our Democratic majority in Congress, we can make even more strides toward protecting our voting rights, codifying Roe v. Wade to ensure our abortion rights, and creating an economy that truly works for us all.
