Newport Beach, CA -- Congresswoman Katie Porter's request to continue living in taxpayer-subsidized housing was initially denied, then the University Dean stepped in and said it would reflect "badly" on the school to deny Porter's request.

"Porter portrays herself as the champion of oversight and transparency, yet she refuses to explain a behind-closed-doors deal with UCI, not afforded to her fellow colleagues. Porter is not the everyday woman she pretends to be. She’s simply an elitist who thinks the rules should be bent to serve her selfish interest," said Scott Baugh.
