We are four days away from Election Day. We have a real chance to surge voter turnout, elect progressive Democrats up and down the ballot, and deliver real progress towards racial, economic, and environmental justice. Summer Lee is a key part of that plan, John.
We need to put more power in the hands of working people, where it belongs, and Summer knows how to make it happen. She’s a proven champion for Pennsylvania’s working class — from advocating for better pay and safer working conditions for the people of Western Pennsylvania as a state legislator to fighting environmental racism by defeating dangerous corporate fracking proposals in her community.
But over $3 million was spent on TV ads attacking her last month alone.
I know Summer Lee is the courageous leader we need in Congress to represent PA-12. I also know how expensive these races can get. Super PACs will spend obscene amounts of money by the end of this election to try to stop working-class champions like Summer — but we can fight back as a determined grassroots movement.
